Tip 37. Common confusion: oriented or orientated?
Which is correct?
We have many years of experience providing .................... and client-focused legal advice to companies throughout Europe.
Correct answer!
Comment:
'Orient' is shorter and simpler than 'orientate' – it's also strictly the correct form.
'Orientate' is often mistakenly used because the noun is 'orientation'. By extension the verb from 'implementation' would be 'implementate' not 'implement' ('implement' is correct!)
